San Marino is on the amber list. Travellers from countries on the amber list who do not have a travel history in countries that are red-listed during the 10 days prior to their arrival are allowed to enter the United Kingdom.

Mandatory COVID-19 testing on arrival for unvaccinated travellers
San Marino is on the amber list. Most travellers from countries on the amber list must take 2 COVID-19 tests after their arrival in the UK. Unvaccinated travellers, or travellers that had a vaccine not recognised by the UK (see below the list), must book a travel test package prior to travel to be tested on or before days 2 and on or after day 8 of quarantine.
This requirement does not apply to:
- -Travelers aged 4 years and younger;
- -Travelers with a medical condition that means they cannot take a test, must present a note from a medical practitioner at check-in and to Border Force staff on arrival in England;
- -Fully vaccinated travellers arriving in England with a vaccination certificate recognized by the UK are not required to take a day 8 test.

Mandatory 10-day quarantine for unvaccinated travellers
San Marino is on the amber list. Unvaccinated travellers from countries on the amber list are required to quarantine for 10 days on arrival in the United Kingdom. Travellers can quarantine at home and must book a travel test package prior to travel to be tested on days 2 and 8 of quarantine. Travellers aged 4 years and younger do not need to take the day 2 or day 8 tests. Travelers arriving in England can also select the option to Test to Release on their passenger locator form. Choosing this option allows them to leave the quarantine earlier upon receiving negative results from a COVID-19 test taken no earlier than the 5th day after arrival. They are still required to take the tests on days 2 and 8. Travellers who are visiting the United Kingdom for less than 10 days, will need to quarantine for the whole of their stay.
Different requirements apply to:
-Travellers with a vaccination certificate recognized by the UK government;
-Travellers under 18 on the day of arrival in England and resident in the UK or in a country with a vaccination program approved by the UK;
-Traveller who received a vaccine part of a UK-approved vaccine trial.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results
Travellers must have a valid negative COVID-19 (NAAT: PCR or LAMP, or antigen) test result in English, French, or Spanish. The test must be taken a maximum of 3 days before departure of the last direct flight to the United Kingdom. The test should meet at least 97% specificity and 80% sensitivity. This requirement applies to all travellers including United Kingdom citizens, residents, and all transit passengers.
This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers to the UK for urgent medical treatment or with a documented medical condition that means they can not take the test;
-Travelers under the age of 11.

Mandatory COVID-19 testing package
San Marino is on the amber list. Travellers from countries on the amber list must book a COVID-19 testing packing before their arrival in the UK. You may book it here.
-Vaccinated travellers are required to take a single test on day 2 after arrival;
-Unvaccinated travellers are required to take a test on day 2 after arrival and day 8 after arrival.
Travellers staying in the UK for less than 2 or 8 days are still required to book the tests, even if they will no longer be in the UK on the dates of the tests. They only need to take the tests if they’re still in the country on those dates.
This requirement does not apply to:
-Travelers aged 4 years and younger for England;
-Travelers under the age of 11 for Scotland;
Mandatory passenger locator form
Travellers, including transit passengers, are required to complete a public health passenger locator form (PLF) online before departure to the UK. The form must be submitted a maximum of 48 hours before arrival in the UK. Travellers must show either a printed copy or an online copy of the form on their phone at the UK border.
