The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of San Marino in London is proud to announce its official patronage of the 7th Annual Esharelife Gala Dinner, an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for charitable initiatives focused on enhancing the lives of underprivileged children.
This event aims to support educational opportunities, promote art, and provide access to technology in disadvantaged communities both within the UK and beyond. The gala dinner will take place on Wednesday 20th November 2024, at the prestigious In & Out Naval and Military Club, located in central London.
The Consulate remains committed to supporting the Esharelife Foundation, which is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people from underprivileged communities. Through a close partnership with AVSI Kenya, the Foundation supports a range of educational and vocational programs designed to equip disadvantaged youth with the skills and opportunities they need to build a brighter future. These initiatives not only provide critical training but also foster hope and empowerment, ensuring that those who face the greatest challenges have the tools to overcome them and thrive.
A key feature of the evening will be a speech by distinguished guest Cavaliere Ufficiale Lord Dominic Johnson of Lainston CBE, founding partner of Somerset Capital Management and former Minister of State in the Department for Business and Trade, who has long been an advocate for enhancing economic cooperation between the United Kingdom and the Republic of San Marino.
In recognition of his contributions to strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in the realm of trade, Lord Johnson was awarded the prestigious title of Knight Officer of the Equestrian Order of Saint Agatha in October 2021. His expertise in international economic relations continues to benefit both nations, and his role as a speaker at the gala is highly anticipated.
The Esharelife Gala Dinner has become a prominent annual event, bringing together leaders from various sectors—business, philanthropy, and diplomacy—to celebrate the shared goal of transforming lives through education. The evening will feature a series of activities, including a formal dinner, speeches, and an award ceremony recognizing individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the cause of charity and international cooperation.
The Honorary Consulate of San Marino remains committed to supporting events that promote philanthropy and education, values that are deeply embedded in the cultural and historical legacy of the Republic. The gala dinner embodies these values and serves as a reminder of the impact of collective efforts in driving meaningful global progress.
