San Marino Consulate in the UK has given its full patronage to the 4th Annual Christmas Gala Charity Dinner, which aimed to raise funds to support educational projects and communities in some of the most deprived regions of Kenya.
This event was organised by the Esharelife Foundation, a charity organisation chaired by Dr Bragagni, on 8th December 2021, and benefited from the participation of hundreds of guests of a broad diplomatic, political and social spectrum, as well as Ambassadors, patrons, testimonials, volunteers and other supporters of the Esharelife Foundation.
In addition to the Consulate’s patronage, the event had sought the full patronage of the Italian Consulate in London, of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and of Tratos UK Ltd.
Participants of this event challenged the difficult circumstances created by the Covid-19 pandemic and joined their forces with Esharelife to fundraise for the benefits of educational projects in Kenya. All the guests observed the Covid-19 restrictive measures while participating in this event.
The venue was decorated with the San Marino flag, and the dining tables were named after San Marino, San Leo, Titano, etc. Consul Bragagni, in his speech, mentioned the work of the Consulate to promote the best interest of San Marino in the UK and congratulated the members of the APPG group, present in the event, for their excellent work as well as congratulated the people who were awarded the order of Saint Agatha.
This was one of those end-of-the-year events that presented the opportunity to learn more about the concepts of “giving back to society” & “sharing life in the digital era” and contribute to delivering more charity projects!
