Further to our previous notice on UK ETA, this is a reminder it will come into effect from April 2, 2025, for all San Marino and European citizens intending to travel to the United Kingdom for short stays.
How to Apply?
Starting from March 5, 2025, the ETA can be requested exclusively through:
- Official App: UK ETA on Google Play & UK ETA on App Store
- Official Website: Apply for an ETA – GOV.UK
Cost of the ETA: £10 – be cautious not to pay more!
Avoid non-official sites and intermediaries that apply additional fees or provide incorrect information!
Exemptions from the ETA:
- Foreign citizens residing in the United Kingdom with a valid visa or residence permit (including pre-settled or settled status).
- British and Irish citizens.
Additional Information:
- Validity: The ETA is valid for two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. It allows multiple visits to the UK, with each stay lasting up to six months.
- Processing Time: Most applications are processed within three working days, but it’s advisable to apply well in advance of your travel date.
- Children: Each traveller, including infants and children, must have their own ETA.
